Dear Aliyah,
So this weekend was pretty good, the weather was awesome so we spent pretty much the whole weekend out. Friday wasn’t that great, it was a clean the house kinda day, Saturday was better, we went to Kitsilano Beach and Stanly Park. The weather was amazing! We went for lunch at the Fish House restaurant, I was surprised you ate everything! You’re pretty picky with food but I guess you like seafood. :) Grandpa had also just got back from Africa so we had a family BBQ for dinner. Sunday was the normal “Church Day” we went to church in the morning and while you’re uncles we’re preforming in CWS we went to get flight tickets for your birthday to Disneyland, we had another BBQ that evening with aunty Katrina, Tito JR & Tony. Monday mommy had school in the morning but you and Grandma came to visit me and we had lunch together :)
Overall it was a pretty good weekend. I seriously can not wait for summer and start bringing you everywhere again. And it’ll be even better this summer because you are older and understand things a lot better. As well because you can walk and I don’t need to haul a stroller everywhere. :P

Ahhhh you’re almost three!!! :( It makes mommy so sad when I see newborns because it reminds me of how fast you’re growing. Before I know it you’ll be 14 and wanting nothing to do with mum :(
Well to be honest I don’t think we’ll EVER have a mother daughter fighting kinda relationship, I think we’ll have a good best friends mother daughter relationship so I’m not too worried about you growing up an not wanting to hangout with me. Well at least I’m hoping.
Dear Aliyah,
Yesterday we went to a Brown Party. I thought since you are half brown you should come with me! :P You had really enjoyed it, especially because there were a lot of other kids there. It was a good night with awesome food,great friends, and good music / entertainment. I should take you to these events more often!

Dear Aliyah,
OMG! I can’t believe I haven’t posted about your biggest accomplishment yet!…. NO DIAPERS! You are officially wearing no diapers! It’s been over a month of no diapers during the day or night, and you have only peed the bed once! Words can not explain how proud I am of you!
Photo Update:
I had posted a photo of you and that little pink bear a few months back talking about how you were starting to grow attached to it, you are now attached! Teddy goes everywhere and anywhere with you. I tried giving Teddy a “bath” a few days ago and you started the biggest tantrum with me. The cheetah print blanket is always a item you are attached too. You call it ‘Scarf-Blankie’ and you will not go to sleep without it. I think it’s really cute that you have items you “can’t live without”. :)

It’s official! We’re going to Disneyland for your 3rd birthday!
I’ve known this for sometime now, and every time I tell you about it you go on and on about how you want to see Mickey & Minnie Mouse and the Disney Princesses! I can tell you are just as stoked as I am! (Considering this will be my first trip to Disneyland too!)
